Animal Description
Andes Farm Hermosa (beautiful in Spanish) is one more of those lovely crias that start playing and running as soon as they hit the ground. She knocked me down when we did the immediate post natal care. She is a very strong 1/2 Accoyo female with her ancestors been from the best that USA has to offer: Hemingway through Antonio, El Toro, her grand dad from the dams side. Note that El Toro was personally chosen by Mike Safley to participate in the noted Stud Masters program. Hermosa's dam is special in her own way too, a blue ribbon show girl. Hermosa has beautiful white, shiny and crimpy fiber with good coverage. Needless to say how dense her fleece is, trait also inherited from mom and dad. The blanket is clean of color contamination. Growing as fast as she is doing it, she will be ready to breed this Fall. It will be fun to choose a male for her, probably we will try to bring the color back in the offspring with a breeding to a dark male.
