Have you seen a cute alpaca? Ophelia is a perfect example of a cutie. She is so dear to us. She is the first live cria out our Cecilia her dam, and that is no small accomplishment. Cecilia had a "C" section due to uterine torsion in her first pregnancy and we lost her first baby. We were not sure if she was going to be able to carry a pregnancy to full term. Imagine how delighted we were to have this girl been born. Ophelia's fleece has very long staples, is shiny and has a very fine, high frequency crimp, in her fiber. She is petite, like her grand dam (a Bueno daughter) and she looks like a doll. But do not be mistaken she is strong and determined, but sweet at the same time. Both parents are solid color, and we do not know of pattern on any of the grand and great grandparents, so we were surprised to see this pattern that makes her so special.
