Animal Description
Oskar is developing nicely, was weaned at 6 months age. Housed then with yearling males, he demonstrated an unusual personality for his young age, keeping the older males at bay and away from his food dish! As his sire, he has a very fine fiber coat, with very long staples. His fiber is maturing quickly and already shows crimp like the fiber of his dam and sire. He also is developing the bundling in the fiber that we like so much. He is very dense and we expect him to be have a high yield when shearing time comes. If he has the finesse of his mom's fiber (17 microns at a year old) his fleece will be luxurious.
